After the first year of implementation we have seen enormous changes in the worker safety at the granite factory in Tamil Nadu, proud to see all the efforts made.

A sandblasting machine is bought to have safer dust control conditions, for which a seperate room is build.

A water sanitation building arose, making the water supply used for granite processing a closed system with sewage disposal and water treatment.

Most importantly all staff is trained in first hand response and prevention of health and safety risks, during working hours.

The commitment of our Indian company partner is above expectation, as is the guidance and efforts from Den Hollandsche.

This project is supported by the Social Sustainability Fund, as part of The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and in commission of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
