Client

“It was a pleasure to work with Local Impact Hub to conduct indepth research into the social and environmental sourcing risks within natural rubber. The team was highly professional, easy to communicate with, flexible in the way they worked, and delivered their tasks on time and within budget. We had a very positive experience and would highly recommend the team to others looking to do work on risk research and management.”

Key Outcomes

Companies sourcing natural rubber need consistent, comparable national level insights on social and environmental risks. Without such information, risk screening and due diligence can miss material issues such as child labour, low wages, unsafe working conditions, or deforestation.

Country level risk insights that companies can use as input for their due diligence.

Evidence that supports GPSNR’s Assurance System design and validation.

Clearer prioritisation of geographies and topics for supplier engagement.

Identifies relevant IPLC (Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities) groups and experts for stakeholder engagement.

Provides a foundation for future, targeted interventions by buyers and platforms.
